A Halo Infinite developer has responded to a gameplay video making the rounds about the sci-fi shooters use of aim assist on PC. Attempts to use that with the ol’ Xbox ended in failure and humiliation. My PC buddy kept talking about how much better the graphics were on PC and how Mouse and Keyboard is great - I LOVE the idea of using a mouse and keyboard, but my brain being wired as Southpaw can’t quite get me there. In order to make things feel more balanced, the game includes aim assist for players that prefer to play with a controller. Well, when it came time to upgrade to the next gen console, I couldn’t procure one to save my life. Btw Aim Assist on the console is basically the lowering of the sensitivity while aiming at someone. Aim and movement are the most important mechanics for you to master if you want to be victorious in Warzone matches, and PC players generally find this easy with a mouse and keyboard. Fortnite players can adjust Aim Assist sensitivity as per their need. I do remember the original Titanfall on PC had some aim assist, but it was very slight, and still didnt compare to a decent KB/M player. Second, I’m a graphic/motion designer, and for personal AND professional use, I use Mac.
